Please reach out as soon as you think you may want to hire a Doula or Life Coach as Lisa’s schedule can fill up quickly. It doesn’t matter if you’re planning for a baby or in the thick of motherhood, there is never a wrong time to ask for help!
-
Absolutely! A Doula is not meant to replace the role of a partner. In fact, we believe your partner should participate at their comfort level with the Doula supporting the partner and the birthing person.
-
A Doula’s role is to support you in your birth, in whatever way you decide that will look. Whether it be at home or in a hospital/birthing center, unmedicated or with an epidural, a Doula can play a large role in supporting your vision for birth.
*Doulas can only practice when accompanied by an Obstetrician or Midwife.

Insurance companies do not cover Doula/Life Coaching services. However, it you may be able to utilize your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover a portion of the fees. Please contact your insurance provider directly to inquire about your benefits.
